MS Paint 001

Recently it has come to my attention that I used to be heavily into pixel art. When I was in high school I spent hours and hours making painstaking scenes in MS Paint, all of which are lost now. It just never occurred to me before that that stuff was pixel art.

I have been especially depressed lately about my complete and utter stagnation as an artist for years, and I've been struggling to start making computer art because I just can't seem to ever get comfortable with pencil and paper anymore. Today I had a minor breakthrough and squeezed out this childlike scrawl in about an hour, which probably seems pretty lame but it's the first thing I've been able to draw since I can't remember so I'm still pretty happy about it.

Hopefully more MS Paint art will follow.
